East York is a huge area of East Toronto that on the map looks rather large but can pass through various boroughs within a couple minutes drive. East York spans north of the Danforth and is bordered by Victoria Park to the East and is concluded by the DVP to the west and North.

Today, a lot of East York is comprised of gorgeous century two or three storey homes (both semi and detached) as well as post-war bungalows (you'll find more of these as you approach the east end of East York). However, this neighbourhood has also seen a huge number of those bungalow homes second storey additions or just torn down altogether and super modern homes built in its place.

East York is arguably one of the best communities for public transit as it border on the Danforth TTC line and has many buses that run along the major streets that run North to South. It is also going to be home to a station stop on the coming Ontario Line extension which will surely add even more accessibility to this section of the city.
